now thats done

the fair is done. and it was a great one.
I had quiet a few people ask for things I hadn't really thought about bringing, So this next year Ill be adding more variety to my shop
More kids sized items such as  mittens , mitts, slippers, more bearded hats baby afghans.
I did have more people then I thought I would requiest synthetic material so Ill be adding more of those styles of things.
 my spouse said he can set me up slat wall on a A frame so I can go vertical and have a better place to display my scarves.
My mom and Aunt had a table next to mine and we had a blast.
This show went really well and Im hoping to be invited back next year.
I have 3 people waiting for to do a quote on hats and baby shoes... :) from befoore the show tho they said they could wait tel after.. so my hook will keep flying through this holiday :)

Now to start my prepping for Christmas gifts too.

I also got everything tagged and ready to go.

 I cant find one of my fave hooks :(
Which is really annoying.

sold two more hats - bearded hats

I had a last minute request for two more bearded hats- in bright orange- one blonde and one brunet.
When I showed them to the customer he was thrilled-
and then a few more people said they may like one so I may have some at the up coming fair IF I have time to make them.

its getting closer

that fair is getting closer and I have been filling orders - so its YAY! and OH No! at the same time.

I love that I have had more sucess recently but Oh my.. I have a lot of happy hooking to do.
I finished a hat today and started another one this one in red. I finished another grey scalloped hat this time I added some detail to it..

I also did two more bearded hats via request.

now to concentrate on the big stuff

well that happened...

I finished a lot of custom orders in the last couple weeks . now I can concentrate on my current inventory for the fair and my etsy shop.
Its nice to have that done and now to work on something else that I want to.. but I like custom work. its satisfying.
SO thats 6 sets of mittens, a beanie a headband, and a bearded hat all done...

I'm almost done with the over sized buclee wrap, its done in black grey and white.
I am also working on a hat, and have plans for a few more things.

I know I need to do more men wear but I'm thinking dish towel toppers too.
being a hooker the opportunities are endless.

love this kind of work its a blast.

Just a Little busy .. ok a lot

I'm one happy hooker.
I finished a big order of 6 sets of kids mittens  and shipped it , shipped a ready to wear order as well, recived another custom order and Im almost done with that and have another custom order in line. :) This is good.
Makes me glad to be busy, and keep my hands busy-
I also got a new shawl listed- my fern shalw pattern but in a deep red.

I have a new buclee shalw in the works- its a grey and black striping.
I have plans of other things but never know IF I can get then done with all Im doing now.

My spouse will also be ordering me some new mugs so I can have them as a promo item for not only the fair but I think I may do a giveaway.. not sure yet though.

Im also writing a few more patterns.
Anyway, that's what is going on in my wierd little yarn world.

new pieces now listed..

I finally listed the new pieces I previewed.. all but the teal one.. that will be listed in the next day or two.
I also will be starting on some other pieces. these comming weeks including my best seller- the cozy shawl.
I also am currently working on a grey cotton bag. Im going to add some fun to it ( novelty yarn) for a little something extra.

I cant wait to see how the pieces turn out. I love hooking.. even when I have to take a short break and look at other things for inspiration..
