owch my shoulder!

I sprained my shoulder- which makes crocheting and working difficult.
so I was put on light duty ( meaning lifting no more then 5 lbs) the sucky part is its my right shoulder and Im right handed. so We will see when my shoulder will let me hook - hopefully soon.
I have too many things waiting in the wings..

Im back to my hooking ways AND this weeks featured etsy seller!

I guess I was going through a mini crocheters- block.
Doing much better & back to hooking..the throw is working up well and the scarf is coming along..

Anyway this weeks featured seller makes wonderful caramels.
Bliss candies - OMG I ordered a  1/4 of vanilla caramels and they where gone in two days.
I normally will take my time with caramels and these you want to take your time but can't help yourself but eat them all rather quickily.
When I have a few more sales Ill be purchasing again from this seller.

This weeks featured seller is mainewoodsyarn .etsy.com

I had purchused some beautiful blue roving from this seller to make some yarn. sorry is slumpy it was my first attempt...once I got the hang of draftingit worked  well with my drop spindle.
fast shipping as well. :)
the price was fairly reasonable :)
This was my first attempts at spinning- I ended up re-spinning ( replying)  the yarn & I didn't get pic of the second attempt; but it's much better looking then in the pic below.. so please forgive the slumps- I also hadn't learned about tha-wacking yet to set the twist..
but either way the color and softness are wonderful..

The color biloxi blues.

Oh yes I'll touch your yarn:)

I hardly ever turn down the opportunity to feel fiber or touch yarn.
I love to feel the texture and as its worked to feel how the fabric is forming.
It's amazing to work on a piece and see it take shape.
Much like cooking or baking or even making displays it's the creative process I enjoy the most.

I think it's why I enjoy where I work so much. I work with Alzheimer patients; you have to be creative in geting things to happen and helping people. Some days its danicng down the hallway with someone to get them to morning exercises, other days it's saying lets take a walk and talking about gardening as you go to where you need to go, or suggesting a cup of coffee to entice someone out of bed It's just another way of being creative.
